Cellulose Acetate is the material I use to turn the body and cap for this very unique fountain pen. The material originally came from a French pen manufacturer from the 1930's. Today the most common use of cellulose acetate is found in the production of frames for reading glasses.
The pen barrel is turned and hand polished with a nickel plated finish. It has a push button mechanism that retracts the Parker ballpoint or Schmidt easy-flow refill.
The angled heavy solid stainless steel base holds the pen securely. This combination is ideal for use on a desk by a telephone or computer keyboard.
