2.5mm SPITFIRE DUO PEN and PENCIL

2.5mm SPITFIRE DUO PEN and PENCIL

THE SPITFIRE  DUO PEN andPENCIL
The scribbler 'DUO' ('du,o) from the Latin, two.

The pen body is turned by hand on a lathe similar to those used in the 1940's and each one will vary in colour and grain structure depending upon which part of the propeller we use.

The clutch mechanism holds a 2.5 mm graphite refill or alternatively a Schmidt D1 ballpen refill will turn it into a pen.
The end cap has a built in sharpener to re-point the lead.

The original propeller serial number R4723 is laser engraved onto each pencil making it a unique piece of World War II history.
